When do I pay the Fee?

The Fee is payable once the Landlord/Estate Agent has agreed to us being your Guarantor and signed our contract. Rent Guarantor will create a unique secure payment link to enable each Tenant to make their payment. The Tenant will receive an email confirming Payment is required to complete the process which will show “Pay Now” What happens when I click on the “Pay Now” Link? When a Tenant clicks “Pay Now” they are re-directed to a secure payment page to complete the process (see above)
Paying via PayPal

PayPal offers three options for paying:

  • Pay via your PayPal account
  • Pay Later via PayPal's Pay in 3 option which allows you split your payment into three instalments (subject to PayPal's checks and acceptance)
  • Pay with your Debit or Credit card.

Select the option you prefer and you'll be directed to the PayPal website to complete the transaction

Once the Tenant has completed the payment process, they will be re-directed back to the “Home Page” confirming payment has been received and Rent Guarantor has countersigned the contract. An Email will be sent by PayPal and Rent Guarantor will issue an email confirming the Application has been completed.

Paying via Payl8r

You will then be able to pay by instalments by clicking the Payl8r button which will re-direct you to complete the payment process.

Paying via Stripe

You can pay via card by clicking the Stripe payment tab and filling in your card details and clicking pay.


What happens if I have a Discount/Promotion Codes? You’ll be able to see the “Discount Code” box (see above) on the right hand side once you have selected your payment method.  Can someone else pay for the Fee? Yes, the name on the receipt does not need to match the name on the application. As long as the amount is correct, we will accept the payment, all you need to do is select “Share Invoice” and you will be able to copy and share the invoice link by email, text or chat. How can my Local Authority Pay the Fee? If you have been advised by your Local Authority that they will be paying your Guarantor Fee on your behalf you will need to upload one of the following documents once you have selected Pre-Agreed Payment Document
  • Payment Confirmation Letter from the Local Authority
  • Purchase Order
